  12. I think his name is Theodore. He likes wearing oversized sweaters and never leaves the house without a combed tail. (You never know what needs to be dried during a trip, he says) Theodore is a very stylish squirrel and believes there's no better way to dry the dishes than using a nicely combed squirrel-tail.

  13. Waldo! I had lots of imaginary animals when I was little. There was a squirrel called Waldo Wiwier (wiwier is welsh for squirrel) My mum would tell all my friends and boyfriends when they came to the house about Waldo and how he liked to drink tea from the saucer. I think she'd like this tea towel - Waldo can finally come in useful for her! x

  16. I'd call him Roslin - which apparently means 'little Redhead' in Scottish Gaelic. Go Red! (mini-boo to Grey, partly because they keep eating my birdfood!)

  23. His name is Freddy. He loves the smell of clean clothes and other clean stuff. He likes to keep warm in his lovely blue and, of course clean, sweater. So when there's something that's been washed, needs to get dry...he runs like a squirrel to get it dry!

  45. I have a strong feeling the squirrel is a lady and because her blue sweater has traditional Icelandic pattern knitted around the neck that's probably where here ancestors lived.
    Björk, who is an Icelander, sang a lovely ballad about Isobel...
    I think Isobel makes a nice name for the blue eyed Squirrel.

  63. Mr. Squirrel is the name he goes by and he does the drying up while Mrs. Squirrel does the washing up, (that`s the way it is in our family anyway).
