this is what Jemibook 's idea of spring... sounds lovely!

Jemibook said...

Spring is all about Sangria, and picnics with little bento boxes filled with fresh berries and dark chocolate, crackers and fancy cheese. Flying kites, star gazing with a lover. Barbecue's with corn on the cob. Jumping on trampoline's, getting caught in a sun-shower and swinging on swings. Picking flowers to put in your hair or give to a friend, getting out of work and smiling at the fact that there is still some daylight left. Easter egg hunts [even if you are not religious it is a must] pastel-flavored dresses that are just begging for a 50s dance party, and early shows that you enjoy on patio's or rooftops while sipping on a mojitio made with fresh mint. Spring is when everything and everyone comes alive, and you forget about all of the dreariness of the winter and find hope in every little thing that you see on the street and you smile way too much!
Have fun decorating those eggs!

  1. I would decorate my egg and cat with a little pointy circus-hat, and perhaps a bow tie.

    Happy easter!

  2. I'd decorate my egg to appear that you're looking at the kitty's brain...it would be amazing!

  3. When I was little I had a beautifully decorated egg... My mum helped me blow the insides out of the egg and then I carefully rolled it in glue then gold glitter until it was covered. I kept it for years until we moved house and it got broken. A very sad day.

I'd love to give it a go again, so I'd give Mog a nice disco-head.

  14. With some fake grass and flowers so the egg becomes really hard to find in case it gets hidden in the garden (of course adding a flower that is out of season might help a lot finding it....).

  15. With a gorgeous Easter bonnet of course! Stripes and flowers and a wide brim. Although a Chaquita Banana hat would be super cute too!

  16. I would draw a brain on the egg! and then have a little picture of what the brain is thinking about - cake or cats or something pretty.

  17. I think a little pointy paper hat with a pom pom might be nice? Something with a nice bold pattern for sure. I love the egg cup!

  18. My eggg....My egggggg.
Ohhhh what to do with the egg?
    I know!
I will color my secretly hidden very luscious chocolate egg in amber, so my little cupcakes think, I'm a good mummy eating my egg in one go!
Perfect plan. I'd better mix some paints!

    Happy Saturday!

  19. i still love the idea of drawing all over an egg with a white crayon (it's tough because you can't really see what you're doing!) and then when you dip it in dye, the crayon colored part stays white! it's always a surprise. though, like many others here, i would probably end up drawing a cat on it. :)

  20. I will knit some little hats for them. For the cat a striped one, with two little holes on top for his ears. for the men, a hat with little dots. So their head will keep being warm, think they will like it.

A bit early, but wish you already a happy weekend !

  21. I'd wrap the egg with yarn and then trail some from it round the cat egg cup so it looked like it was playing with a ball of yarn. My kitty used to love that so much :)

  22. Oh my gosh I LOVE it! these are so amazing, I just LOVE them. Okay, SO... if I were to decorate my egg head I would either give it little blond curls (jut like my little boy - oh, is that gruesome?!) or with an adorable Jackie O felt cap and veil or some adorable yarn dreadlocks (complete with crocheted Rasta cap!) or maybe Elvis hair or Kramer hair or with a comb-over... Ahh the possibilities are endless!!!!

  24. I'd coat the egg in glue then roll it in glitter - giving me a glitter egg!
