Housey Hideaway

Friday, 30 April 2010

Our new housey blankets are multifunctional! Designed to be used on a bed or sofa, they can also transform into a wee housey. great fun for all the family!
215cm x 150cm, made from lovely soft lambswool, with a heavy cosy feel.
I think they are my new favourite product!

PS. a big thanks to Gareth Hacker, Albert and Bukka for the fab photo of them using the house blanket, and Willa Coode Robins for the inspiration, as I designed this blanket after seeing Willa making a den with her rainy day blanket.

  6. I just love your designs, so original, you should be (and probably are) dead proud of your amazing creations!? I saw your article in Trend magazine way back, fell in love with your creatures then! My husband is convinced you used to work in a vintage shop years ago in Aberdeen but I think he must be mistaken, he's so completely rubbish with names and faces I take everything he says with a pinch of salt, haha!!?! x

  8. Hehe, I knew he was getting confused!!!! It was 'Retrospect' by the way, round the corner from John Lewis.

It's funny, I was reading an old copy of the 'Buckie Paper' (the Banffshire Advertiser) at my mother-in-law's on Sunday night and I spied an advert for that Coast Festival after my eye was immediately drawn to a picture of 'Rill'.....was absolutely kicking myself I had missed it, and just after I had just blogged about your ace designs too! Would have loved to have seen your work....and on my very doorstep too....wisna happy aboot missing it at a! :D x
